Dear Bev and Eileen – what can we say - it has been an amazing journey since that rainy Saturday afternoon in July last year when we visited Honey Cole to start to look for a wedding dress for Sarah. As Mother of the Bride, I would like to give an account of how you played a large part in the success of the day! Sarah had booked a couple of appointments but having spent that rainy Saturday afternoon at our first appointment at Honey Cole we knew the other subsequent appointments would be cancelled. You took control immediately and suggested that Sarah try on a few different styles to get an idea of what would suit her. When Sarah tried number 6 – we instantly all knew that the Lyn Ashworth Dress called Grace would be “the one”. The friendly efficiency and professionalism of Honey Cole was in no doubt but it was all the extra touches that you provided that made the whole process so easy and exciting for us. Regular updates with Sarah by phone and by email kept the whole experience alive and we suddenly realised that you could provide even more for us and we chose the 3 bridesmaid dresses by JLM which also looked amazing. Once the wedding dress was chosen, it quickly became the centre piece for many other decisions connected with the wedding. It was an absolute pleasure to be able to ask you both to the wedding and we were overwhelmed when you both accepted – knowing that Saturdays are your busiest days. We have had the best day of our lives – everything went to perfection – the church service at Kings Bromley, amazing Swinfen Hall and along with the beautiful sunshine, a day we will never forget! I know that Sarah and Alex will want to thank you personally on their return from honeymoon but for me, as mother of the bride, your friendship, constant advice and reassurance will never be forgotten.
